This weekend we finally had good weather!! So Aaron and I took advantage of the sunshine and took Dave and Don on their first hike. We chose the Cress Creek Nature trail, because it's a pretty easy hike, and it was close. There were great views of the snake river (pictured) There has been so much rain lately that the river was really full and overflowing. They had a lovely picnic area here. There was a lot of watercress (hence the trail's name) and cattails growing in this little stream.
What is a nature hike without any flowers?! These are some blue flax that we found on the trail .. .they weren't too hard to find, they covered the whole hillsides
Here is David and I enjoying our hike
Don and Aaron had a great hike too. I like how in this picture they both have the same expression.
Another picture of Don and Dad. Both boys really enjoyed being in their backpacks. . . which made hiking a lot easier.
We even saw some wildlife.
Here we are taking a break at the 'top'

That hike looked really fun, and pretty! I'm glad it worked well having the boys in the backpacks. :)
Fun, Fun, FUN! Our Girls LOVE being outside. I just got a frame backpack, and it's really nice.
Cute Boys!
